The tool presented below will help you find the right Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) stream that you could be eligible to, based on a set of criteria explained below. With more than 70 different streams, across 12 provinces/territories, this tool is quite easy to use, and prevents you from going through reading the eligibility requirements of all 80+ provincial immigration streams.
How to use the Tool / Filter criteria used
The table below lists all the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) streams that exist, currently open or closed (to find out the current status of each stream, check the PNP Live Monitor). There are 8 filters that can be used to find out which stream best suits you, and 7 of them are just “Yes or No” filters to make the search easier.
Below is an explanation if the filters used:
Below is an explanation if the filters used:
- Province / Territory: If you have a specific province in mind to see what PNP streams they offer, select the corresponding province or territory in the dropdown list in the filers line. You can click on each province in the table to get more details about the eligibility requirements of each stream.
- Aligned with Express Entry: If you are already in the Express Entry pool, select “Yes”, and you will get all the streams that will get you 600 additional CRS points. You need to know that non-Express Entry aligned streams do not take advantage of the fast processing time of 6 months of Express Entry. These non-aligned streams are usually processed within 15 to 19 months.
- Job offer: If you select “No” in the filter line, you will get all streams that do not require a job offer to be eligible. However, there are, of course, other eligibility criteria to take into account.
- In-demand NOC list: If you select “Yes”, you will get the streams that require work experience in a specific occupation (by NOC code). However, as is the case for New Brunswick’s Skilled Workers Express Entry stream, for example, there may be other criteria, such as speaking French, to be eligible. You can click on the “Yes” links to get the in-demand list for each stream.
- Work Experience in Canada: If you select “No”, you will have the streams that do not require to have previous work experience in Canada.
- Priority to French-Speaking: If you select “Yes”, you will see the streams that are directed to or have advantages for French-speaking candidates. Some streams in Manitoba, for example, do not require to have experience in the in-demand occupations list if you speak French at a CLB7 level.
- Studies in Canada: This filter will let you know if you need to have studied in Canada to be eligible for a given stream.
- Business: if you have a large amount of money to invest, then you can select “Yes”, and you will see all Entrepreneurial streams.
